Travelling to San Sebastián

By Plane

By Train

San Sebastián's train station, the Estación del Norte (Northern Station) is situated in the city centre, and is connected to a large number of Spanish cities, including Madrid and Barcelona, as well as international destinations, such as Paris and Lisbon. There is also a high-speed train connection (TGV) between Paris and Hendaye.

San Sebastián is connected to the rest of Spain and to France by national road N1/AP1 (Madrid-Irún), the A-8 (Bilbao-Irún) and A-63 (Paris-Irún) motorways, and the A-15 trunk road (Pamplona-San Sebastián). Nearly all areas of the city can be accessed by one of these highways.
